Jeans & Denim Stain Remover
Denim is dyed with indigo that sits on the surface of the cotton fibre — which is exactly why bleach-based stain removers strip the colour off your jeans. Luniva is active enzyme-based, so it digests the stain without touching the dye. Use it on raw denim, dark wash, black jeans and white jeans alike.

Why bleach ruins jeans
Indigo bonds loosely to cotton, sitting on the fibre rather than penetrating it. Chlorine and oxygen bleaches strip indigo as readily as they strip stains, leaving pale patches. Active Enzymes only target the stain molecules — the indigo stays put.
How to use Luniva on jeans & denim stains
- Step 1 — Spray directly: Apply Luniva to the stain until saturated. No rubbing, no pre-soak.
- Step 2 — Wait 1–3 minutes: Active Enzymes break the stain down at the molecular level. Don't let it dry.
- Step 3 — Wash at 40°C: Machine-wash as normal. Air dry; never tumble dry until you've confirmed the stain is gone.
Compliance note: Based on controlled laboratory testing. Performance may vary by stain age, fabric type and wash conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Will Luniva fade my dark jeans?
No. Luniva is active enzyme-based and bleach-free, so it does not strip indigo. Always wash inside-out at 30–40°C for the longest colour life.
Can I use Luniva on raw or selvedge denim?
Yes — spot-test first on the inside seam. Apply only where the stain is, wait 1–3 minutes, then cold-rinse. Avoid soaking the whole garment.
How do I remove grease stains from jeans?
Blot any excess oil, spray Luniva directly on the stain, wait 3 minutes (5 for set-in marks), then wash inside-out at 40°C.
Does Luniva remove mud and grass from kids' jeans?
Yes. Let mud dry and brush it off first, spray Luniva, wait 1–3 minutes, then wash at 40°C. For grass, see our dedicated guide.
Is Luniva safe on stretch denim and elastane blends?
Yes. Luniva does not damage elastane or spandex fibres.
