How to use Luniva, which formula suits which stain, delivery and returns. Still stuck? Email or call us.
Using Luniva
Both formulas are ready to use straight from the bottle. There is nothing to dilute or mix.
Spray directly onto the stain. Leave for 1–3 minutes, then wash as normal with your usual detergent, following the garment care label. There is no need to dilute, mix or decant the product.
Yes. Every Luniva product is concentrated, so a little goes a long way: you spray the sprays only on the stain, and the powders need just 5–15 g per wash.
No. Luniva Enzyme Powered and Luniva Pro Formula are both ready-to-use sprays. Apply them neat to the stain, wait 1–3 minutes and wash as normal.
1–3 minutes is the working time for most stains. Avoid letting the treatment dry on the fabric. If it starts to dry before washing, re-mist the area and then wash.
Wash at the temperature shown on the garment care label. A normal 30–40°C machine wash with your usual detergent is fine for everyday laundry.
Dried-in marks often need a second pass. Re-spray, leave for the full 1–3 minutes and wash again rather than extending the working time on a single application.
Use on washable fabrics, and always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicates, wool, silk, leather or anything labelled dry-clean only. Do not use on people, skin or pets.
Yes. It's a pre-treatment spray applied to the stain before the garment goes into the machine, free from bleach and suitable for baby clothes and bedding. Always wash the garment before wearing.
Because you spray only the stained area, a 100ml bottle covers a lot of individual treatments.
Choosing a formula
Two formulas, two jobs. Pick by the kind of mark you are dealing with.
Choose Luniva Enzyme Powered for everyday food, protein and body/organic stains. Choose Luniva Pro Formula for grease, oil, body oils, grime and workwear marks. If your laundry pile has both, many customers keep one of each.
Everyday organic marks: food and sauces, protein-type stains, and body/organic soiling on clothes, fabrics and laundry. Its four-enzyme approach targets these stain groups.
Grease and oil-based soiling: cooking grease, body oils on collars and cuffs, engine and workshop grime, and general workwear dirt. Pro Formula is not an enzyme product.
Silk, wool, leather, suede, rayon/viscose, acetate, delicate synthetics, waterproof/breathable membranes (e.g. Gore-Tex), flame-retardant finishes, and any fabric whose care label warns against solvents or hydrocarbon-based cleaners.
Don't mix Pro Formula with bleach, ammonia, acidic cleaners or other detergents. Spray it on its own, then wash as normal with your usual detergent.
Use in a well-ventilated area. Open a window or run an extractor fan. Keep away from open flames, sparks and hot surfaces while spraying. Avoid spraying towards the face or eyes. Wear household gloves for prolonged use. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after handling.
Both formulas help remove stains and the odours trapped within them. They are not disinfectants or sanitisers, and we make no claims about killing bacteria.
Yes. It is not a bleach, so it is intended for use on coloured washable fabrics as well as whites. As with any stain treatment, test on a hidden area first.
Treat different marks separately rather than layering products on the same spot. Work on one stain at a time, then wash the garment as normal.
Laundry powders
Super White and Oxi Power go in the wash with your usual detergent. They're coming soon and not on sale yet. Answers come from the labels.
Super White is a chlorine laundry bleach powder for whites only. Oxi Power is an oxygen stain remover and laundry booster for colours and whites. Both are added to the wash with your usual detergent.
Light soiling: 5 g (1 scoop). Normal soiling: 10 g (2 scoops). Heavy soiling: 15 g (3 scoops). 1 scoop = 5 g. Both are suitable for machine and hand wash.
No. Super White is for whites only. Do not use it on wool, silk, colours or delicate fabrics. For colours, use Oxi Power and follow the garment care labels.
Oxi Power is effective from 30°C. Follow the garment care labels.
Read the label before use, keep them out of reach of children and wear protective gloves/eye protection. The full safety information is on each product page and on the tub.
Pro Formula must never be mixed with bleach, so don't use Super White or Oxi Power in the same wash as anything you've treated with Pro Formula. Super White isn't for curry or turmeric stains: chlorine bleach can turn them orange, so treat those with Enzyme Powered.
