Lubricant & Gear Oil Stain Remover for Clothes
Chain oil, gear oil, hydraulic fluid and machine lubricant are designed to stay put under heat, pressure and friction — the exact opposite of what you want when you've splashed them on your overalls or favourite jeans. Luniva Pro Formula is the heavy-duty solvent-action degreaser engineered for industrial lubricants. Spray, wait 1–3 minutes, wash separately as normal, following the garment care label. Bleach-free and colour-safe on standard workwear and denim.

Why industrial lubricants resist normal detergent
Lubricants are formulated to cling to moving metal under heat — water-based detergent slides off them. A normal wash spreads the oil through the garment instead of lifting it out. Pro Formula's solvent-action chemistry dissolves the lubricant before the wash begins, so the residue rinses out cleanly.
How to use Luniva on lubricants, chain oil & hydraulic fluid · pro formula
- Step 1 — Spray Pro Formula directly: Saturate the lubricant mark plus a small border. The oil will visibly darken as the solvent action lifts it.
- Step 2 — Wait 1–3 minutes: Solvent-action chemistry breaks the lubricant bond so it releases from the fibre.
- Step 3 — Wash separately as normal, following the garment care label: Wash the garment on its own. Air-dry; inspect before tumble-drying.
Compliance note: Based on controlled laboratory testing. Performance may vary by stain age, fabric type and wash conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Does Pro Formula work on bike chain oil?
Yes. Spray each splatter spot, wait 1–3 minutes, wash separately as normal, following the garment care label. For dried chain oil, repeat the treatment once.
Can I use Pro Formula on hydraulic fluid stains?
Yes. Hydraulic fluid is in the same hydrocarbon family as gear and chain oil. Treat identically: spray, dwell 1–3 minutes, wash separately as normal, following the garment care label.
Is Pro Formula safe on dark workwear and jeans?
Yes. Pro Formula is bleach-free and colour-safe on standard workwear and denim. Wash inside-out as normal, following the garment care label to protect indigo dye.
Should I use the pink Enzyme bottle on lubricant stains?
No. The pink Enzyme bottle is built for protein and everyday food stains. Industrial lubricants need Pro Formula's solvent-action chemistry.
Do I need to wash lubricant-stained clothes separately?
Yes — always. Even after Pro Formula treatment, washing lubricant-treated garments on their own protects everyday laundry from trace residue in the drum.
