Collar & Cuff Stain Remover for Shirts
The yellow ring around your collar isn't dirt — it's a mix of sebum, sweat, dead skin and the foundation or moisturiser that transfers from your neck across the day. Cuffs pick up the same residue plus desk grime. Luniva's lipase + protease combo breaks both the oil and the protein in 1–3 minutes, so the collar washes white again without bleach.

Why collar and cuff marks resist normal washing
The neck and wrist sit in constant skin contact, so sebum and sweat are deposited continuously. Standard detergent emulsifies free oils but can't break the polymerised lipid layer that builds up after a few wears — and tumble-drying bakes it in. You need an active enzyme that cleaves the lipid AND the protein bonds together.
How to use Luniva on collar & cuff stains
- Step 1 — Saturate the collar and cuffs: Spray Luniva along the full length of the collar and both cuffs until visibly wet. Don't rub.
- Step 2 — Wait 3–5 minutes: Lipase breaks the sebum, protease breaks the sweat protein. For old yellowing, leave 10 minutes.
- Step 3 — Wash at 40°C, air-dry first: Run a normal cycle. Inspect before tumble-drying — heat re-sets any residue you missed.
Compliance note: Based on controlled laboratory testing. Performance may vary by stain age, fabric type and wash conditions.

Frequently asked questions
What is ring around the collar?
It's a build-up of sebum, sweat, dead skin and skincare products that bonds to the inside of the collar fabric. Standard detergent can't break the lipid layer fully — Luniva's lipase active enzyme will.
Will Luniva remove old, set-in collar stains?
Yes. Spray, leave for 10 minutes (instead of 1–3) before washing at 40°C. Air-dry in sunlight for severe yellowing — repeat once if needed.
Is it safe on coloured business shirts and silk-blend collars?
Yes — colour-safe and bleach-free. Spot-test the inside hem on silk and silk-blends before full treatment.
Why do my cuffs go grey instead of yellow?
Cuff grime is sebum mixed with environmental dust and ink — the grey shade comes from particulate dirt trapped in the lipid layer. Luniva breaks the lipid so the dirt rinses out with it.
Can I use Luniva on a non-iron or treated dress shirt?
Yes. The active enzyme formulation does not strip non-iron finishes. Spray the collar and cuffs only, wait 3–5 minutes, wash at 40°C.
